BettyJo has been working with plants for over ten years. She received her bachelors and masters degrees from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, where she studied plant ecology and ecosystem restoration. She loved working with plants in an academic setting, but also became fascinated by the field of regenerative agriculture. She worked on organic and ecologically designed farms for multiple growing seasons before deciding to start her own farm dedicated to the principles of regenerative agriculture and ecological design.
In her free time, BettyJo loves spending time with her husband Paul and her daughter Alana. She also loves playing music, hiking, and writing songs and prose.
